Takoyaki

Takoyaki is a ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special molded pan. It is typically filled with minced or diced octopus, tempura scraps, pickled ginger, and green onion. We go to mercato to taste different types of foods and takoyaki is one of it. At first it looks nice and delicious so we’ve decided to buy one. It cost 80 pesos for 4 pieces, not bad. The price is cheap so is the taste. The texture is kinda chewy. The taste is not bad at all, it still taste like a normal one but it’s not our favorite. All in all, the takoyaki in mercato is not worth it.
